As every year, UNEX opened its gates to general public on 1 May. The Open Doors Day could boast of an attractive programme and visitors could see the large production premises of the parent plant in Uničov.
From early morning, children could frolic in an inflatable excavator; the more courageous ones could try riding an electric bull. Another attraction included popular children’s workshops – this time children could take home a fairy-tale mask or a cup that they had decorated on their own. The children’s accompanying programme also included face painting and competitions for sweet and material prizes.
The main programme started with an interactive show of clown Viky, which was full of songs, dances and games for children. This was followed by a show of a BMX world champion Dominik Nekolný. Then girls and boys could ride Dominik’s BMX bike and many of them could even try some of the tricks under his supervision. Then it was time for ageless rock hits by music band LIVIN. Within the accompanying programme, visitors could also see fire-fighting machinery presented by members of the Voluntary Fire-Fighting Association Uničov. Another interesting stop while walking around the company’s premises was certainly an exposition of various species of birds of prey, which were untraditionally completed with an otter.
Human resources specialists of UNEX had their stall at the event, too, and they were not bored at all; they spent the whole day answering questions of employees and those interested in various vacancies. Secondary schools and vocational schools from the neighbourhood made use of the cooperation with our company for presentation.
