The UNEX machinery equipment was expanded at the end of the year with two unique machines: Band saw and vertical lathe.
Gravitational band saw machine 360x500 GH-LR
The band saw is capable to work with objects with max. weight of 650 kg. It is designed for cutting of material in vertical and angled cuts from 0 to +60 degrees to the right and from 0 to -60 degrees to the left. The saw will be used in unit and batch production and is located in machining plant in Uničov.
Vertical lathe VLC 2500 ATC-III – TDZ Turn
This vertical lathe can work with pieces up to 15 tons in weight, with maximal height of the piece of 2,600 mm and turning diameter of 2,800 mm. It will substantially expand machining capacities and precision possibilities of the company in the area of vertical lathe work.
A machine with similar specifications can be found only in Slovakia and Russia. It is, therefore a truly unique equipment. It will be installed in foundry - Uničov.
